How it works
We ship internationally with duties and taxes included. When you enter your address at checkout, Shopify calculates the import duty, VAT or GST, and any carrier brokerage fee for your country and adds it to your order total as a single line. You pay it with the rest of your order, we prepay it to the carrier, and your package clears customs without anyone knocking on your door for money.
The amount is based on your country's own rates and the value and category of what you're buying — it's the same amount you'd otherwise be billed by the carrier, just handled up front.
What you'll see at checkout
Prices are shown in your local currency once you pick your country. Your order summary lists the item prices, shipping, and a separate Duties and taxes line. The total at the bottom is final — there are no additional charges on arrival.
If a carrier asks you to pay
It shouldn't happen, but if DHL or UPS contacts you for duties or taxes on an order that already included them, don't pay — message us with your order number and a screenshot or photo of the request and we'll sort it out with the carrier directly.
Returns and refused packages
Duties and taxes paid at checkout are refunded as part of your store credit if you return an eligible item — see our return policy. Orders that are refused, unclaimed or returned to us for any reason are credited less shipping, return shipping and any carrier fees, and original shipping is non-refundable. Refusing a package is a buyer's choice, not a shipping error; chargebacks filed over refused deliveries are routinely defended.
Common questions
Can you mark my order as a gift or lower the declared value?
No. Every order ships with an accurate customs declaration — under-declaring is illegal and can get the package seized. Since duties are already covered, there's nothing to save by doing it anyway.
Why is the duties line different from what a friend paid?
Rates depend on the destination country, the product category (denim, footwear and outerwear are often taxed differently), and the order value. Two orders to the same country can carry different amounts.
Do you ship to my country?
Add something to your cart and enter your address at checkout — if we ship there, you'll see shipping and duties calculated instantly. If your country isn't listed, message us and we'll check.
Which carriers handle international orders?
DHL Express or UPS. Both deliver duty-paid, and you'll get tracking by email and text as soon as the order ships.
